AUTHOR SUBMISSIONS

All submissions must be in hard copy. Gibbes Street will consider proposals for fiction books aimed at a general trade market. We do not publish poetry.

We require all submissions to be typed, double-spaced, on A4 paper. Avoid elaborate binding and staples, and ensure that all pages are numbered.

Please ensure that you retain a copy of your manuscript, and do not send original illustrations as submissions will not be returned.

Please include a one-page synopsis of your work, a contents page, the first three chapters, sample illustrations and a brief biography stating previous (if any) publications.

If your submission has been shortlisted for consideration you will normally hear from us within six to eight weeks.

Gibbes Street has no restrictions with concepts and ideas.
